The Geraldton-Greenough RC and North West DRA Prize Meeting this weekend (8-10/8) has been cancelled.

WAPOL Firearms Clubs and Ranges have issued a notice, that due to compliance issues relating to the range danger area template at Greenough Rifle Range, Section 299 of the Firearms Act 2024 makes it an offence for ‘A person who, without lawful excuse, fires any firearm, or any projectile from a firearm, onto, from or across any road or public place’.

WAPOL Licensing Services cannot allow anyone using the range to commit the above offence.

Further notification of possibly relocating the event (restricted program) will be forthcoming.
